“CRow Game”

Game Design, Programming, Project Management

“Crow Game” is an in-development 2D narrative adventure game starring Saffi, a thief who just can’t help but steal stuff from the rich. With her boat damaged after a big score, she finds herself stuck on Suncrest Island, where she’ll use her thieving skills—for good! Oh, and Saffi can also transform into a crow to solve puzzles and sort out problems.

The game, intended to be around 45 minutes long, will see Saffi assisting the residents of the island with their problems, helping repair their frayed bonds AND their local community center. In human form, Saffi can manipulate complex objects and talk to other people. As a crow, she can speak to animals, fly over obstacles, and more—just don’t ask her to read while in her be-feathered form.

I’m responsible for all of the programming, game design, level design, and management of the project, and am creating the underlying systems for dialogue, transformation, inventory, and other gameplay.

The game will be out when it’s done, which is sometime later than today!
