Ghostwire: Tokyo
English Writing & Editing
Ghostwire: Tokyo is a first-person action game from Tango Gameworks, the studio responsible for The Evil Within series and Hi-Fi Rush. Set amidst the neon-soaked streets of Shibuya in Japan, it features a menagerie of supernatural creatures drawn from a bevy of popular Japanese folklore and ghost stories.
I served as the localization writer on the project, working closely with translators and the developers to shape the flavor and tone of the game's English text. I had a hand in nearly all of the text in the game: voiced dialogue and character barks, system text and data logs, and its substantial codex entries on Japanese food, culture, and mythology.
You can see a few shots from the game below, and find physical copies in stores, or pick it up digitally on the PlayStation Store or (soon) via Xbox.
