Rune Factory 5 is the (as of this writing) latest game in the long-running action-infused life sim series, and was localized by XSeed Games.

I worked with XSeed staff and a team of freelance translators and editors to translate cutscene and incidental NPC dialogue. These games provide some action combat to go along with their life sim elements (the most important of which being, in my mind, the cast of characters the player can date and marry!), so maintaining the right balance of charm and adventure in the text was important.
